Applied through school website. Contacted to finish online assessments. Then invited for phone case interview. The case was very easy, basically regarding how to improve sales on credit card. The interviewer asked what are some channels to advertise a credit card (basically internet and direct mail), then calculated which channel brings in more customers given the number of customers contacted, response rate, and approval rate. Then a brief discussion on why the two methods had different response rate and approval rate. Lastly calculated profitability of the two methods given revenue generated by the card and the cost associated with each method. Received rejection the second day although I personally think the interview went well and I got the case correct. The interviewer didn't seem interested at the beginning and I tried to engage him as much as possible, however, it didn't seem to work out. Not sure exactly what the company is looking for in an candidate.
