(1/2) You have to send your application online with your CV. There were 3,4 simple questions to answer in the application. Then it seems like everybody who applies gets to go to the Assessment Center. I've done some research and found out that there are at least 15 candidates and up to 25-30 candidates in these... So, the Assessment Center lasts for around 2h30-3h. It goes by very fast. ("Test", quick-fire interview, group case study, Q&A) At first, they put all the candidates in a conference room with about as many interviewers who are all associates, consultant, senior consultants etc... The main guy presents explains why we are here and what will be expected, briefly outlines the company and position and then it starts... All candidates are divided into groups depending on their name tag color. Each group goes into a room to do a "test". You will never have seen a "test" like this before. They give you 20min to read 15pages. They give you a single piece of paper where you have to mark your results. They ask you to put down the risks, dependencies, etc... and the important and relevant dates... They ask you to judge the color (Red, Amber, Green) of the level of each... The text is extremely confusing with a few mistakes inside it... As mentioned before, this is something you have never done. You have 20min from the time you get in the room to do it. You are stressed as this is to get a job you want. This test makes absolutely NO SENSE at all for many different reasons: You will NEVER have only 20min to prepare for a case in your job. You will NEVER be asked about things you have no idea about. You will NEVER have to do THIS in the job. The whole point of the position is to get trained to become a consultant at Capco, and the first thing they give you is a... test! Judging you on things you have NEVER came across. It is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT. You will NEVER finish to read everything, you will NEVER manage to complete the test. Like I said, it makes NO SENSE. Then, they bring all the groups back in the conference room where you can ask questions. (I'll talk more about this later). Then, they ask all the groups to go each in a room for the quick-fire interviews. So, the 4 candidates in your group are put in a room where 4 interviewers are sitting at each corner of the room (two chairs facing each other). These are 5min quick interviews with each of the interviewers. Nothing hard about this, they will ask you just about anything... But prepare the "why capco?" and "Why consulting?" questions... This should be really easy if you are a good communicator and have good interpersonal skills... Then, they put you back in the conference room with all the other candidates and interviewers where you can again ask questions...

Application - tests- online interview - Assessment evening - Final interview. I went though all the process and my friends and I are waiting for ages for the result after final interview. Really bad recruitment team and really bad management system in graduate recruiting. No communication at all after final interview. We wrote numerous emails without replying and they just evaporate. Irresponsible! Not a contingent case. A lot of my friends who is applying and went through final interview are facing this. Even one called them and they just say” oh by the way, forgot to tell you, no offer.”

The interview process consisted of 4 stages. Basic Application, Video Interview, Assessment Centre and a final HR + Principal Consultant 30 minute interview with each. All the stages were fine but the HR at this company are not much better than a pathetic joke. I was told I would know the outcome of the final interviews within 2 weeks - quite a long time but I was happy to wait. After 3 weeks passed I sent an email to ask when I would be able to get some feedback - I didn't get a response from the first person I emailed, so I emailed a HR business partner who told me I would know by the end of week 4. By the end of week 4 I had still heard nothing. I tried calling and emailing again (knowing by this point it's probably a no) to which I was completely ignored this time. I tried one more email in week 5 - I got a response by the HR business partner saying I would be called that day. I was never called after repeatedly just asking for feedback so that I could improve for my next set of interviews. I think a 2 minute phone call for feedback is a basic amount of decency and respect any candidate deserve after going through the entire process. Completely unprofessional and imagine it's a testament to how you may be treated by HR when you're within the company.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and apologies that your experience of our process fell short of our high standards on this occasion. We always strive to keep candidates informed throughout the interview process as due to the number of Assessment Centres we run for our Associate programme the process can take up to 6 weeks. We also know the importance of providing constructive feedback to all of our candidates so we are sorry to hear that wasn’t the case with your experience. We will certainly look into this issue to ensure it does not happen again. If you would like to discuss further, please contact Joanne Lee (Joanne.Lee@capco.com) our UK Recruitment Lead.

Was called for a video interview, a very long time ago, back in October. Deadline to complete it was very short if I remember correctly. As was the response time to each question. I sent the interview and got a confirmation about it, however, no response whatsoever
