The interview process was FAST and quite pleasant! There were a few assessments - one live session with the founder where the interviewee demonstrates basic SQL expertise, and then another untimed project where the interviewee creates a workflow in a new software. Aside from those 2 sessions, there were 3 additional interview conversations (including initial recruiter interview).

The whole process was very organized and efficient. The recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and was very informative on the opportunity and what it entailed. The end to end process was an initial call with the recruiter, a live sql assessment interview, a take home assignment and a final interview. Everyone involved in the process very friendly, encouraging and informative. I wouldn't say it's an easy process but if you meet the qualifications and are an expert in SQL as the requirements specify then you'll enjoy the experience as I had. I've been with Bytecode over a year now and out of all the companies I've been Bytecode has had the best interview and onboarding experience to prepare and provide you with enough support to succeed in a new position.
