Submit a resume, and it disappears into a black hole. You'd better apply to a specific job or your resume will never surface. I got a weekly set of 10 "matches" to my resume that were clearly computer generated and must have been 3% matches because they were hilarious. Finally, one week I found a job that matched, so I applied. I was a good fit, because the next day I got a call from a recruiter who asked questions that could have been answered by reading my resume. I got a call later from one of my future colleagues, and then came in for an in person interview at a Booz Allen office. I knew several people in the client organization, so I was very well qualified. They made me a lowball offer that, in my opinion, I said I would consider, but wasn't happy with. They called back to finalize it a day or two later, and were very frustrated that they would have to get multiple approvals to give me a salary $10-20K below what I should have been offered. In the end, I took it, but keep in mind that your initial offer will pigeonhole you. I've been lowballed ever since.

I went through four different stages of interviews over a ~ 1 month timeframe. 1. Screen with recruiter. 2. Interview with hiring manager 3. Technical talk and half-day interview with BAH employees. 4. Interview with DoD client.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Hiring manager asked about my general experiences to gauge my expertise. BAH employees individual meetings focused on technical questions and how I would relate technical content to a non-technical or semi-technical audience. The interview was very professional and the questions were well thought out.
