There is no job interview. As a freelancer, you need to complete a translation test (hotel description or marketing content), and if you pass the test, you are asked to provide your personal and business data.

I applied at the end of May for the Freelance Translator role, submitted my test in a week, and - nothing. Zero. In mid-June, I applied for the full-time Language Specialist role, which is close to Translator's one, but different. Both positions required different types of language online tests. I have not heard anything from Booking.com for four months. Finally, today I received a rejection for the Freelance Translator role. What was sad was that apparently, they linked it with the bad results of the Language Specialist role, which is inaccurate. I was very frustrated because I am sure my freelance test was excellent and perhaps they simply made a wrong connection between test results and role title (as I applied to both with a small time gap).
