Applied through University Careers website. Took 2 month to get a response. After the first interview 1:1, it was rather fast. You get an interview with HR before the job offer.
The 1:1 interview is directly with the manager of the back office team. You are expected to present yourself (background) and to answer some motivational questions as well.

What are the types of consolidation? Bridge from Equity Value to Enterprise Value. What are the differences between Comps and Precedent Transactions? What is a DCF? How would you value H3 (Burguer Chain) and with which methods?
Afterwards you get a test to do in 30 mins with technical, Economic Culture and logical questions.

I applied online, the process took one month from applying to signing the contract, very polite and organised HR Department, video interview which took about twenty minutes, position is a three month off-cycle internship

After submitting my online application, I had to do a test in the Paris office. Hereafter, HR contacted me and told me it would send my CV to the relevant businesses.
Some days later I got a first interview with an analyst of the team. Within one week after this call, I talked with 3 members of the team (analyst, VP and director).

Test: basic macro economic and finance knowledge (oil price, difference between accrual and cost based accounting etc.)
interviews:
- knowledge of the relevant industry
- walk me through a DCF model
- Equity - EV bridge
- impact of associates and minority interests on income statement and bridge
- Some PE related questions (IRR, money multiple etc.)
- ...
