First, there was a screening process. The call I had was about 40 min long and assessed your behaviour to make sure I was a match for BMO. The person I spoke to was extremely pleasant and helpful; the call ended with them informing me that they would personally recommend me for an interview.
Next, I had an interview with the Hiring Manager and a Sr. Specialist. They explained the day-to-day activity and the overall expectations that they had for the role. A few behavioural questions, and not really any technical questions which I was surprised with. However, the role I applied for was for a training program, so I believe they wanted to make sure I was a good fit and was able to be a self learner that didn't need that much direction and would do whatever it took to get the job done.
In the end, it was a very laidback interview. It went for approximately 1 hr and 30 mins. I felt very confident afterwards. Entire process for the screening, interview, and offer was exactly 3 weeks from the time I applied.
