I had a very negative interview experience with BMO, thanks to the poor communication of the HR department. After an initial screening phone interview, I was invited via email to interview in person with a panel. However, HR kept trying to schedule the interview with less than 24 hours notice, which was very difficult to execute given I was already working full-time. I eventually obliged, heading to an in-person interview with no more than six-hours notice, only to arrive and find out the HR person had told me the wrong date and time. I therefore had ducked out of my current workplace for no reason, potentially compromising myself in that position. To their credit, the hiring team scrambled to meet with me, but needless to say it was not an ideal experience for anyone involved, as everyone rushed to make it happen thanks to the HR person's mistake. 

The interview was very basic. First level with the HR personnel. The second with the Hiring Manager. Since I was not in Toronto at the time I had to do both interviews over the phone which made things more complicated. But the hiring staff were very accommodating and willing to speak on the phone.
