first interview was with two members of the team, including the hiring Manager asking standard interview questions about strengths and weaknesses as well as relevant experience that makes me a candidate for the role. Second interview was with the Director of the department, with similar, but higher level questions and more business related questions and understanding how i would fit in with the team.

Wrong job spec sent so prep wasn’t appropriate. Belittled by managers and internal recruiter. Told the best thing was ‘I was available’, then no feedback provided and no opportunity to ask why I was put forward for the wrong job.

This was a panel interview with multiple interviewers. They were friendly but seemed like they were implying that the department is under constant pressure and scrutiny and how would you deal with that.
