3 Stage Interview: Last inteview is tough, 30 mins of shooting quick questions that require quick responses
Very Technical but test on peple skills as well
Shared implementation expereince and difficult user requirements that I have to solution for
I had two interviews. One initial interview with the talent team to kind of touch ground on my experience, English knowledge and salary expectations and understand what Accenture was looking for.
Second interview was with one of the workday managers. It mainly was about my Workday and HR experience and also to give me information about the position, projects I could be/would be working on, the teams' structure... Salary did not come up again.
Next thing I heard from the team was that we were not moving on with the process because of my salary expectations. This surprised me. There was never any mention or comment around the salary expectations I gave and I was given an interview, which makes you think they are okay with them. Salary was never brought up again up until the rejection. There was no chance of discussing or negotiating this.
I think it's good to remind talent and recruiting teams that salary expectations are just that, expectations. They are negotiable, and if the candidate is interested in the position, make sure you have this conversation with them before giving them a full rejection.
It could also be that their feedback is fake and it was just a quick an easy exit. I would prefer to think this is not the case. I like to be transparent and honest as a candidate and I'm fully expecting the same thing from the recruiting teams.
