J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez ADP (Schaumburg, IL) en janv. 2017
Entretien
You go through a recruiter that will contact you. My recruiter was professional and courteous, and gave me a heads up on what I needed to prepare for. Then, you have to take a personality test as well as an online customer service test in which you are tested on how you respond to client inquiries.
I was then screened again by someone from their talent team who simply just wrote down my responses to the basic questions he asked. I wondered why my recruiter did not do this process earlier during our initial phone call.
The on-site interview was with two reporting managers and an HR personnel. I will have to say that this was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional interviews conducted in my experience. They started the first 5 minutes interrogating me about why I was laid off from my last job, and had the nerve to ask me, "Well if other people were kept, then why do you think they made the decision to let you go?" I thought, right then and there, that they had to set a terrible tone. In my other interviews with other employers, they understood and respected the circumstances that I was in. They proceeded to interrogate me about how difficult this job would be, and while I understand their need to weed out those that are not a good fit, their methods made it seem like ADP is an unenjoyable place to work for. Not the best way to sell your biggest company. The Schaumburg staff that conducted this interview should have no business being in management, and were terribly unprofessional and should never have gone out of their way to attack other applicants. I called the recruiter right after my interview and took myself out of the candidacy process. What a disappointment!
