      Entretien

First, there was a phone screen with the ADP corporate recruiter. He asked pretty basic questions about experience, interest in the position, and desired salary range. I'm pretty sure that as long as you don't fall flat on your face, you'll be fine on this step. About 15 minutes. That is followed by a phone screen with a potential manager for the position that you apply for. This is a longer/more in-depth interview that could be up to an hour. Mine only lasted 30 minutes. If you make it past the phone screens, they'll invite you to interview in person. The in person interview was more intense. It was a 3 hour interview where I met with 1 manager for an hour, another for the second hour, etc. These one-on-one interviews vary depending on the person you're talking to, obviously. Questions were more specific and geared towards past experience. They also spent a good deal of time explaining the position and the structure of ADP, which was very helpful. The second interviewer of the 3 was definitely pretty intimidating and intense, but I think that was just her style. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. The whole process took about 3 weeks. In the end I got an offer but I did turn it down because the pay did not match what I was looking for.

I was invited for an on-site interview at the company's headquarters. The process was straightforward, lasting about 20 minutes—a standard HR screening. It began with a warm welcome from the recruiter, followed by questions on my background, skills, and motivation for the role. We discussed my resume highlights and availability.

      Entretien

All interviews facilitated remotely. First I was invited to a call with a recruitment partner from ADP. A ‘get to know’ and eligibility session. Very friendly and informal. First ‘official’ stage interview with hiring manager, another informal ‘get to know eachother’ and some background about why they’re hiring, the expectations for the role and a bit about the company. I was only asked to talk a little about my experience and my motivations to apply. It was really an open chat. Second interview was a meet the team (two other Product Managers) and the hiring manager. Another fairly informal session, get to know the product, including a screen demo, finished by some competency based questions, which were elaborated on by the other PMs to understand how I work and my approach to agile / ceremonies, user story writing etc. Again, didn’t feel too formal, they were really just trying to determine if I’d be suitable to work with. No further interviews beyond that - was offered the role! Worth mentioning this was the way the hiring manager likes to interview, you may not have the same experience with another hiring manager. Really efficient process all in all, with a good level of communication from the recruitment partner throughout the process.
