The only pro is the pay, there's nothing else

The role lacked the strategic involvement that was initially advertised and instead focused heavily on administrative coordination, with many key responsibilities outsourced. There was little opportunity for ownership or professional growth. Communication boundaries were not respected, with frequent out-of-hours contact, and weekly meetings felt repetitive and unproductive. Contributions often went unrecognised, and there was limited inclusion in broader team discussions or decision-making. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations in terms of role clarity, autonomy, and work-life balance.
