October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a reminder of the strength and resilience of women and families affected by this disease. In 2021, in partnership with Pelotonia and American Association for Cancer Research, we launched the Global Fund for Women’s Cancers, funding innovative research by women, for women. Since then, the Fund has awarded $13.5M in grants to 25 women scientists worldwide, supporting breakthroughs in prevention, early detection, and treatment. At its core, this is about people: empowering women scientists and advancing discoveries that will benefit generations to come. Together, through action and commitment, we want to create a future without breast and women's cancers.
