Europe's EV race: Can it catch up by 2030? "To meet Europe's FIT for 55' carbon emission goals by 2030, the country needs a minimum of 3.5 million public charging infrastructure. The challenge is not just about the number of public charging infrastructure, but about the fast chargers that are available. Currently, only 3.5% are fast chargers. To meet the 2030 goals, we need 60-70% of these chargers as fast chargers. There has to be equitable distribution of public chargers in other countries.
