Making waves at the Nashville Dragon Boat Festival! SSOE’s team of 20 paddlers and one spirited drummer took to the East Riverfront Landing for the 16th annual dragon boat races, hosted by the Cumberland River Compact. Our paddles were on fire from downtown’s East Bank onward, and our average race time improved significantly from last year. Last month, SSOE hosted American Heart Association's STEM Goes Red hands-on workshop, empowering students across the metroplex to bridge the gender gap in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Building the future is at the heart of what we do—with outreach, education, and mentorship paving the way for tomorrow's innovators. SSOE is a proud legacy partner with The University of Toledo and Toledo Public Schools, championing STEM initiatives and supporting diversity from middle school through higher education. Costumes and kudos: Our Portland office embraced the spooky season while celebrating our local Founders and Leadership Award recipients in costume last week! From a plague doctor to a disco witch and a Teletubby to boot (a phrase we never thought we’d say), those who didn’t go home with a prestigious trophy could still win the coveted costume contest—everyone had a chance to shine. Delightful Diwali! Yesterday, we celebrated Diwali at our Mumbai office with great enthusiasm. The entire office was adorned with flowers, and a beautiful traditional rangoli welcomed everyone at the entrance. Employees donned traditional attire and enjoyed a variety of festive snacks. We played a rousing game of Housie, adding a fun and lively atmosphere to our office environment.
