Owens Corning proudly continued its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions with the groundbreaking of its facility at the Paroc AB Hällekis plant in Sweden. The plant will convert our process from coke-fired furnaces to an electric process, which is estimated to reduce the plant’s scope 1 and 2 emissions by 80 percent. Join us in celebrating Robin Dvořák, a Melter Leader at the Klášterec Plant in the Czech Republic. Robin has been with Owens Corning for 13 years, beginning in production and working his way through several roles before he was put in charge of glass factory repairs and issues. Robin’s favorite memory at Owens Corning is ALL his time spent at OC! He is filled with gratitude for the opportunities Owens Corning has given him and is overjoyed by his journey here so far.
