Optimum team members joined Mayor Rick Elumbaugh in Batesville, Arkansas, to raise a new American flag above the welcome sign outside the city’s airport. This is part of a new initiative to support our communities by preserving our country’s greatest symbol, the American flag. Optimum employees identify worn or damaged American flags in the towns and cities we serve, so we can replace them at no cost.
For Teacher Appreciation Week, Optimum donated $25,000 to the St. Joseph School District in Missouri to support STEAM education through our partnership with DonorsChoose. The program will directly fund 50 small businesses in communities across Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island, and we encourage all eligible businesses to apply by May 1.
