With its business in Brazil growing fast, and sustainability more and more on the agenda, our office in São Paulo celebrates its first decade this year. The Brazil office was born when our first project went live in 2014. 10 years on, we are still supporting and advising companies like Klabin (paper, film and packaging), Bekaert (metals), Braskem (chemicals), Beiersdorf (life sciences), and Natura (consumer goods) on real-world solutions for the supply chain planning challenges they all face. To mark the occasion, the Brazilian team enjoyed a cake-cutting ceremony at the OMP Conference in São Paulo. Congratulations to our colleagues in Brazil!
The 2023 OMP Conference, a global gathering of over 300 forward-thinking supply chain professionals, convened in the vibrant city of Barcelona on September 27 and 28. Under the banner of "Be bold. Continuing its steady growth across the globe, OMP welcomed its new team members to its Belgium head office on September 1. The day-long event was packed with activities aimed at introducing newcomers — most of them newly minted university graduates — to OMP’s culture of global collaboration.

OMP USA celebrates 20 years and 200 team members This August, OMP USA celebrates an impressive double milestone: 20 years of operation for its Atlanta office and a thriving team of 200 members. Back in August of 2003, when the company was known as OM Partners, OMP established its U.S. office in Atlanta with just two dedicated employees. The move was driven by expanding partnerships in Europe and a pioneering spirit to explore opportunities across the Atlantic. This marked the beginning of OMP's fourth regional office after its founding in Belgium in 1985.
A decade of purpose: celebrating 10 years of giving back to society Year after year, OMP demonstrates its commitment to making a positive impact on society through a unique charity program. This year, we proudly celebrate a decade of giving back. Throughout this time, we have supported over 50 non-profit organizations in Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe, donating more than 500,000 euros. Our focus areas include children, healthcare, creativity, climate change, education, and poverty.
OMP’s supply chain planning software is part of a massive transformation within organizations Supply chain organizations have faced numerous disruptions, from the Suez Canal incident to COVID-19, leading companies to reevaluate their processes. To answer these disruptions, organizations need to leverage technology, causing them to transform the organization and redefine people’s careers in the supply chain sector. It’s key to see this transformation as a journey, where the company’s backbone is well-positioned before supply chain technology is deployed, says Tom Van Herzele, Partner at EY Belgium and head of supply chain services.“ This way companies can avoid the risk of simply replacing processes and people with software, without contributing anything to efficiency, cost reduction, and so on.”
OMP celebrated reaching the 1,000-employee milestone with a fun event at the company head office in Antwerp, Belgium, yesterday. A time capsule containing a selection of pre-recorded testimonials, predictions, and present-day items was buried in the company garden. It will be dug up and revealed in 2030.
