We have released the financial results for Q3 2024 showing 25% organic growth and record quarterly operational EBITDA. The positive development was driven by all business lines. NKT CEO Claes Westerlind says: "In Q3 2024, we continued the execution of the high-voltage order backlog and the ongoing investments across seven of our production sites. This positively impacted the financial performance, where we delivered double-digit revenue growth for the eighth consecutive quarter and record-high quarterly operational EBITDA. We are constantly strengthening our market position, and as a pure-play power cable solutions provider, we are well-positioned to benefit from the robust demand driven by the energy transition."
We recently celebrated the opening of our new office for the Global Competence Centre (G3C) in Chennai to support our growing team. The inauguration was attended by Jens Due Olsen, Chair of the Board, and CEO Claes Westerlind. “It was a pleasure meeting many of our Indian colleagues and officially opening the new office in Chennai. We are happy to continue growing our presence in India by expanding our talent base and strengthening the contributions from the teams across the value chain for key projects and tenders. NKT has more than 165 skilled employees in India, primarily engineers, operating from our three offices in Chennai, Mumbai and Gurugram, close to Delhi.
As we are participating in New York Climate Week, we continue the installation of the Champlain Hudson Power Express (CHPE) connecting Quebec to New York State. It feels great to play a key role in enabling renewable energy supply in New York City. The CHPE is one of the largest infrastructure projects in the U.S. and will bring hashtag#hydropower from Canada providing 20% of New York City’s hashtag#power.
