Methodist Southlake has earned the Gold Seal of Approval® accreditation from The Joint Commission as a Primary Heart Attack Center (PHAC), highlighting our commitment to providing safe, high-quality patient care to the Southlake community. “Achieving this certification just under a year and a half of starting our heart attack program validates the commitment and dedication of the entire hospital for this community,” said President Benson Chacko, FACHE. We’re incredibly grateful to our dedicated staff and providers for making this milestone possible.
This week, Methodist Health System hospitals across North Texas lit up green to show support for our fellow Texans impacted by the devastating flooding in the central part of our state. Green is the color of Camp Mystic, where floodwaters took the lives of dozens of young campers, including several from the Dallas area. The green lights are also intended to show support for our healthcare colleagues in Central Texas who have been working tirelessly to save the lives of the many injured.

Only 30 healthcare leaders made the cut. Methodist Dallas celebrated the outpatient and ambulatory surgery team for its April patient experience scores. The team scored a 9 or 10 out of 10 on 93% of the surveys. We honored their achievement with an Outstanding Acts of Sweetness cookie party featuring treats from Kessler Baking Studio. Here's to sweet success!
