A very special day for Loadhog. It has been an honour to welcome HRH The Princess Royal into Loadhog HQ. The Princess Royal took time to meet and chat with members of the Loadhog team, from engineers and production staff to apprentices. The visit highlighted Loadhog’s cutting-edge work in sustainable manufacturing and its role in helping businesses reduce waste. This is a day that will go down in Loadhog History! #RoyalVisit
11 of our Loadhog employees volunteered to assist Riverlution in habitat restoration of the River Don. The day consisted of litter collection, cutting down willow, as well as general tidying of the area. This is the second year we have partnered up with Riverlution, and will continue to do so in the future to help preserve our local areas.
Over the last 10 years, we have worked with Encirc, and Whirlow Hall Farm Trust to help support youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our founder, Hugh Facey, and trustee of Whirlow Hall Farm, has been an integral part in building the connection between the three companies. Loadhog’s relationship with Encirc has helped to provide a strong connection with the Trust and, in return, raised awareness of all the brilliant things Whirlow is doing. As you may know, in 2025 we will be opening our new factory, helping to expand our global offering. As sustainability is a key topic for us, we wanted to make sure it was implemented right from the first brick being laid. The new factory will run solely on solar panel energy, have electric vehicle charging points for all our employees and guests to use free of charge, and will have rain water collection systems for better utilisation and energy consumption around the factory.
