Sometimes, we all need a little amp. Five years ago, Juanisha Darby joined Inovalon and got to work building clarity out of complexity. As a Senior Product Owner and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Juanisha helps translate big ideas into real outcomes. She shapes product roadmaps, prioritizes backlogs, refines features, and partners across teams to ensure what we build truly serves users and stakeholders. Agile isn’t just a framework for her. It’s a mindset. Focused. Iterative. Always improving. That discipline is part of who she is. So when Juanisha celebrated her 5-year anniversary with Inovalon, she didn’t choose something quiet as her anniversary gift from Inovalon. She chose an electric guitar and amp and started lessons. New chords. New muscle memory. New calluses. In the first photo, that’s Juanisha with her new guitar. Inovalon was named top-rated vendor for the End-to-End Medicare Advantage (MA) Risk Adjustment Lifecycle by Black Book Research. This recognition comes at a pivotal time for MA plans after the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released plans to expedite Risk Adjustment Data Validation (RADV) audits and recover identified overpayments. The rollout will mandate RADV audits for all eligible MA plans annually and accelerate audits for payment years 2018 through 2024. Accurate, well-documented risk score submissions and surveillance technology to maintain compliance helps plans address the elevated risk of financial penalties, operational disruptions, and reputational harm.
