The month of March was a special one for us. This was a month marked by some great days followed by amazing ones, for this was a month dedicated to the Women of Hughes Systique Corporation, the 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯. From discussing important issues with an all-female panel discussion to taking in some sound advice from a finance expert and getting aware with financial knowledge. We also danced, laughed and made merry while making sure to appreciate our female colleagues with empowering tags from strong cine characters. Even though it was called the March of Women, we make sure that the thoughts arising from the conversations & the promises of International Women’s Day are with us & acted upon throughout the year and over the years…
Mr. Deepak Sehrawat, Director - Engineering, Hughes Systique Corporation, was invited as a speaker to share his insights on the topic of “Connected Industries: IoT Integration in Manufacturing and Supply Chain”, at Confederation of Indian Industry's 6th edition of The IoT Summit which was held in Hotel Shangri-La Eros, New Delhi and supported by Hughes Systique as its Innovation Partner. He was joined by Mr. Aditya Aggarwal, EVP, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Mr. Aditya Chaudhary, Business Head & Director, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Dr. Jitendra K Das, Director General, FORE School of Management, Ms. Kamna Sama, Technology Leader & Head IT, Cummins India, Mr. Nikhil Maheshwari, VP, Hindware Limited and Mr. Sharad Kumar Agarwal, Chief Digital & Information Officer, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., for the discussion. Mr. Sehrawat expressed his views on the benefits of integrating IoT in Manufacturing and Supply chain. He also talked about the barriers and challenges faced by MSMEs in adoption of IoT in their manufacturing processes along with the steps to help them resolve the challenges.
The festival of colours, Holi, was celebrated with some colourful & engaging activities which witnessed participation from excited HSCians. The hues of Hughes Systique were in full display during the celebrations with games like T-shirt painting, obstacle race, Antakshari and quiz among others. With traditional Holi delicacies served during the lunch, the day ended with HSCians playing an environment friendly Holi with flowers.
Two weeks of goodness! HSCians from Hughes Systique Corporation's Gurugram campus participated enthusiastically in two CSR drives with our partner NGOs, NIIT Foundation and Give Me Trees Trust to ensure a future that is not only bright but also sustainable. The students of NIIT Foundation were given an opportunity to appear for mock interviews which would prepare them for their future placement drives. The feedback is not only beneficial to the students but also to their instructors which helps them in working on the improvement areas of each student. At the Jaunapur City Forest, the plantation site for 3000 trees that HSC concluded planting in 2023-24; the changemakers gathered to plant 300 trees and diversifying the fauna of the forest. With our volunteers in tow, the energetic group of HSCians were also given a quick session about the local plants found in the forest and picked up a few tips on gardening from the Give Me Trees Trust personnel. With many more engagements planned for the future, the Parivartan Changemakers are already geared up for making an impact.
