Tampa, we’re officially open. ✂️ With the opening of our new 190,000 square foot, three-building Tampa campus, GEICO continues investing in people, careers, and opportunities across Florida. The opening of our Tampa office has expanded our Florida workforce to over 4,400 associates in Tampa, Lakeland, Jacksonville, and other locations statewide. With 500 roles in Tampa already filled, we plan to hire a total of 1,500 employees to support our insurance Sales, Service, and Claims departments. Productive meetings by day, fulfilling volunteer shifts by night. 🦎🦎 GEICO Tech leaders recently got together in GEICO's new Tampa Bay office for a day of collaboration, which they followed with a night of volunteering with Feeding Tampa Bay. Feeding Tampa Bay is an organization that supports the local community with food, support, and resources. Our team members volunteered at Feeding Tampa Bay's market, working a shift inside the grocery story stocking shelves and helping customers shop. "The whole experience was humbling as we could talk to people coming from all paths of life," said Sudheer G., Senior Manager, Staff Software Engineer at GEICO.
