While working at a hospital in Midsayap, Philippines, she found out that her mother was diagnosed with diabetes, as well as stage 3 chronic kidney disease (CKD). This was a turning point--one that inspired her to seek a deeper understanding of kidney care, not just for her family, but for others facing a similar diagnosis. When Hazel joined the company as a staff nurse, she found more than just a job--she found purpose. As the global leader in dialysis services, FME's patient-centered approach and investment in professional growth gave her the tools to navigate complex care needs with confidence. "Over the past four years, I've had many opportunities to learn and lead," she shares.
