"Studying BSc Agriculture in Dehradun and being part of Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE), my roots in agriculture instilled a deep empathy for rural communities. Witnessing their struggles during fueled my determination to make change. As a budding social worker, I encountered the harsh realities faced by farmers and their families. Inspired by their resilience, I sought to make a difference. At this point, I came across Damco Solutions and its "Do Good" initiative which aligned perfectly with my values, offering a platform to amplify social impact and become a catalyst of meaningful change. Joining Damco as a CSR Associate, I embarked on a mission close to my heart: collaborating with NGOs to empower marginalized communities. Through the DoGood app, we streamline our efforts, ensuring that resources and assistance reach those who need them most efficiently. Each day presents new challenges, yet the knowledge that every action transforms lives propels me forward. My experience with various NGOs, such as Roshni, Goonj, Tender Hearts, and The Earth Saviours Foundation, has been eye-opening and deeply enriching. Witnessing their work firsthand—whether it's providing education to underprivileged children, supporting skill development initiatives, or offering healthcare to marginalized communities—has reinforced my commitment to the cause. These interactions have not only broadened my perspective but also deepened my understanding of the diverse needs and challenges...
