Having a restaurant and retail shop under one roof can present unique challenges and opportunities, but these two leaders make it look easy! Meet Carol Fitzgerald (Retail Manager) & Qunaco Hawkins (General Manager), two Cracker Barrel leaders in Texas, who are a shining example of teamwork. When asked how they work together, Qunaco said, "We are great business partners that fit together perfectly like a puzzle piece. We complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses. We share the same vision and trust each other. Our partnership thrives on mutual respect, open communication, transparency, and commitment to achieving shared goals." At our 2023 Managers Conference, Carol was announced as a winner of our 2023 Winners Circle award. To celebrate the Winners Circle achievement, the recipients and a guest of their choice were invited on a cruise around the Caribbean. Carol invited the General Manager of her store, Qunaco, to join her on the cruise! Carol said that she couldn't have won without Qunaco's partnership and support, and she wanted them to both be able to celebrate together.
