On September 18, Schnieder Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, announced the Accelerating Resilient Infrastructure Initiative. The initiative is a nationwide effort of over 20 energy leaders to rapidly deploy resilient, community-based energy systems across the U.S. CDM Smith joins the cohort to address aging infrastructure, rising energy costs, growing energy demand, and more extreme weather events with innovative solutions and financing options.
CDM Smith has reached key project milestones on the integrated progressive design-build effort to expand the Central and South Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facilities (AWWTFs) and advance the Surface Water Discharge Elimination program for the City of Fort Myers. With the design phase for the Central AWWTF now 60 percent complete, the city has contracted CDM Smith for construction on the $150 million project.
The firm made $55,000 in donations to House of Ruth, Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country – Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, Team Rubicon and Texas Search and Rescue, made possible by employee participation in physical and mental well-being activities.
Aaron Salter joins CDM Smith as a senior legal counsel in the office of the general counsel. Salter brings more than 15 years of experience in law, intellectual property and engineering.
