Our third pillar, Social & Environmental Impact concentrates on making a positive impact within our environment and directly addressing social issues that impact our communities. Our annual Earth Day Celebration spans coast to coast where employees clean up the outdoors involving beautification, stream clean-up, and preservations. We also direct our efforts towards food insecurity issues where we have volunteered over 500 hours in 13 different foodbanks providing around 90,000 meals. In addition, we’ve hosted food drives, collecting cans and delivering them to local food banks and shelters equating to over 100,000 meals.
Youth and Development, our second pillar, focuses on promoting and supporting the growth of youth within our local communities. Directly partnering with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Bozzuto launched their 3rd annual backpack and school supply drive. In over 280 diverse properties, we donated more than 2,800 backpacks. Alongside our ERG’s, we have also hosted a toy and coat drive to support the youths.
The first pillar, Homelessness and Housing, is Bozzuto’s central pillar with a goal of providing sanctuary to those who need it most. This past year, employees participated in our "Bozzuto Rebuild Day". From landscaping installing a new patio, to repairing damaged siding, employees collectively came together to rebuild and revitalize various communities across the country.
In honor of April being National Volunteer Month, we’d like to highlight and recognize our Corporate Social Responsibility Program, RISE by Bozzuto, all month long. Established in 2019, RISE was designed to bring together Bozzuto employees, residents, partners, and clients with a shared mission, offering unified opportunities to give back to our communities. RISE also prioritizes partnering with our Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) in order to directly contribute to areas that are important to our employees. Centered around three pillars; Homelessness & Housing, Youth Development and Social & Environmental Impact, RISE connects back towards Bozzuto’s mission and values to ensure we are creating meaningful impacts in our communities.

During Women in Construction Week, we celebrated by hosting a Women in Leadership Mentorship Lunch. This event provided a space for meaningful conversations between the women of Bozzuto and Bozzuto’s women leaders—an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and support one another. By fostering mentorship and exchanging career insights, we’re not just celebrating the contributions of women in construction—we’re empowering the next generation of leaders to grow, lead, and inspire. Mentorship isn’t just a one-time conversation—it is a foundation for collaboration, growth, and innovation.
This January and February, our amazing Bozzuto Ambassadors hit the road, bringing energy and excitement to campuses Massachusetts to Tallahassee, Florida! Every March, we celebrate Women’s History Month by recognizing the incredible accomplishments and contributions of women throughout history and today. At Bozzuto, we are committed to fostering an environment where our female associates can grow, lead, and thrive. This month and beyond, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere.
As Black History Month comes to a close, we would like to share our gratitude to SOUL and all of our associates who participated in the celebration. Our associates visited museums across our markets that highlighted African Americans in the workforce, SOUL created a flipbook showcasing Black inventors and creators and they partnered with VIDA to create an event honoring Afro-Latino culture. We look forward to more opportunities for meaningful connection and education as we continue to honor the African American community all year round.
