We are honored to introduce Camp Willow's Light, our pediatric and family grief camp designed for children and families who have lost a loved one within the past three years. Named in memory of our pediatric patient, Willow "brought light, laughter, and love to all who knew her. Her smile was contagious, her spirit unbreakable...her light shines on." Created by Child Life Specialists and made possible through the Carnation Foundation, the camp serves children ages 5-18 and their parent or caregiver. Meet Carlos, one of our compassionate hospice chaplains. His calling is rooted in faith, service, and empathy. At Agape Care, we are so thankful for our certified nursing assistants, the champions and heroes of our patients. During National Nursing Assistants Week, we showed our gratitude to our amazing CNAs with coffee and pastries from a local mobile coffee truck, a refreshing "lemon-aid" bar to honor the valuable aid they provide, and a fun Hawaiian BBQ event. We are so grateful for the compassion and care they bring to our patients and families every day!
