We had a great time at Reuters Events Pharma last week, where we hosted the “Lost to Found: AI for Faster Diagnosis” hackathon. Teams from Novartis, Sanofi, Pfizer, GSK, and more joined us to explore how DTC Clinical AI can accelerate diagnosis and drive better patient engagement. Together, we worked through real-world challenges and surfaced thoughtful, actionable solutions to some of pharma’s most pressing problems. Huge thanks to everyone who participated. We’re just getting started and excited to keep pushing the boundaries of what DTC Clinical AI can do. #REPharmaUSA Reuters Events
For millions of people worldwide, living with a rare disease means facing a long and challenging journey to diagnosis. Patients can go years, sometimes decades, without answers, enduring: - Worsening symptoms due to delays in treatment - Unnecessary procedures that don’t address the real issue - Misdiagnoses leading to the wrong medications and ineffective care This is the reality for those with Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP), one of the world’s rarest conditions, affecting just 1 in 2 million people. Like many rare diseases, early and accurate diagnosis is critical to improving quality of life and slowing disease progression. Meet Nadine Z. Grossmann, a patient advocate living with FOP. Her story is a powerful reminder of why access to the right information, awareness, and early detection matters. 💙 👉 Watch Nadine’s story and join us in raising awareness for #rarediseases today. Because no one should have to wait years for answers. #RareDiseaseDay

Ada was tested by a team at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, involving a diverse group of users including psychotherapists, students, and laypersons. The study analyzed 20 different mental health cases, revealing some remarkable outcomes: 📈Correct diagnoses were identified in 58% to 79% of adult cases. 🔍 When considering additional possible diagnoses, accuracy improved to an outstanding 88% to 92%. 🤝 Ada’s diagnostic accuracy (Kappa=0.78) is on par with the level of agreement typically seen between two professional psychologists. ⏱️ The app completes detailed assessments in just 7 minutes. At Ada, we continue to welcome independent third party research into our products, including our AI-powered health assessment. This research underscores Ada’s potential to significantly enhance diagnostic quality, making mental health care more accessible and efficient.
