Meet Miss Bella Blue – the beloved companion of Jamie Carlsen, our Executive Director at AccentCare Hospice in Loveland, Colorado. 💙 12-year-old Bella was her late owner’s loyal sidekick, then became Jamie’s rock through life’s toughest moments. Over the years, Bella has also become a source of comfort and joy for our hospice teams, patients, and families, bringing warmth to everyone she meets. Now on her own journey as Loveland’s “official” hospice dog, Bella reminds us of a lesson we share every day: Life is precious, and every moment matters. So cherish the snuggles, appreciate the nose nudges, and find joy in the little things. 🐾
Recently our Oakland, California branch, AccentCare had the honor of celebrating Mr. Atkinson’s 95th birthday alongside his loving daughters, Alisa and Vicki. With a heartfelt card signed by our team and a special We Honor Veterans certificate, pin, and flag, we recognized his service in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Though words were few, the gratitude and love in the room spoke volumes. Legacy Project: A Love Cast in Time💙 In their life together, he sculpted, and she danced. Now, in his final chapter, their love is forever captured in a sculpture of their intertwined hands—wedding bands and all. When this patient’s wife shared her heartfelt wish for a lasting tribute, our Miami team came together to make it happen.
