Since 2017, Drive for Five has been one of our favorite AIR Communities traditions. It's a meaningful way to recognize the incredible commitment of our onsite teammates. Created to celebrate field teammates with five or more years of service, Drive for Five enters eligible team members into monthly drawings for the chance to win a brand-new car. One winner is traditionally selected in the East and one in the West each year. At this year's kickoff event, our Co-CEOs, Lisa Cohn and Keith Kimmel, had the honor of drawing the names of the lucky winners live, and the excitement in the room was unforgettable. This year, Lisa and Keith even surprised everyone with a third winner! 🚗 Congratulations to our 2026 Drive for Five winners: ✨ Yesenia Jurado, Leasing Consultant at The Palazzo at Park La Brea ✨ Renee Wagner, Community Manager at Stone Creek ✨ Rodolfo Romero, Service Technician at Shenandoah Crossing We can't wait to share more once they receive their new vehicles, so stay tuned for the big reveal!

Milestone Spotlight: Celebrating 20 Years with Joe 🎉 Today, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Joe, the Senior Service Manager at The Sterling Apartment Homes in Philadelphia, PA. Joe is celebrating an incredible 20th anniversary with AIR Communities! Joe has been a cornerstone of exceptional service in our Philadelphia market, and his impact over the past two decades has been felt by teammates and residents alike. His journey began as a Stationary Engineer at Park Towne Place. Since then, he’s continued to grow on the AIR Jungle Gym, eventually stepping into his current role as Senior Service Manager. When asked what’s excited him most about his time at AIR, Joe shares that no two days are ever the same and that he’s always had the opportunity to work alongside a great group of people. As Joe puts it, “Working at AIR has taught me how to be a team player and helped me develop a good work ethic.” Fun fact: While Joe is Philly-born and an Eagles fan, hockey is his true sports love. He bleeds orange and black for the Philadelphia Flyers! 🧡🖤 Congratulations on 20 amazing years, Joe!
Success begins with proper planning, and our Denver Operations team is off to a strong start! Recently, Denver Regional Property Managers brought together Colorado Leasing Consultants for a breakfast session at our Denver office to prepare for a busy and exciting year of sales ahead. The Denver market has seen significant growth over the last year, and that momentum is only heating up in 2026. Having our Denver teams together in person gave everyone the chance to align on expectations and reinforce best practices that help drive results. During the visit, the team focused on key strategies and priorities, including tours, handling objections with confidence, and sharpening our sales principles. The group also connected with our Shared Service Center teammates. The SSC’s behind-the-scenes support helps manage administrative tasks and resident concerns, allowing Leasing Consultants to stay focused on what matters most: leasing apartments and delivering an exceptional experience for our residents who call AIR Communities home. Thank you to our Denver team for proactively preparing for a successful year of growth in 2026!
AIR’s main office in Denver is officially in full Broncos mode as excitement builds ahead of this weekend’s AFC Championship game! 🧡💙 Teammates proudly rocked their gameday gear to help manifest a little Mile High Magic, filling our Town Square with orange, blue, and contagious energy during a recent Mix & Mingle. From jerseys and hats to bold Broncos pride, the office was buzzing with team spirit and good vibes. A few creative teammates even took things a step further, donning DIY Jarrett Stidham masks inspired by the viral internet meme. It was all in good fun to show support for the backup QB stepping into the spotlight in place of injured Bo Nix, and to remind us that sometimes humor and optimism are just as crucial as the playbook. Moments like these are what make AIR special. We believe in creating connections, celebrating what brings us together, and building a culture where teammates feel energized, engaged, and proud to show up as themselves. At AIR Communities, we’re all about making moments that matter...for our residents, our teammates, and the communities we call home. Let’s go, Broncos! 🏈✨
Teamwork under pressure? Challenge accepted 💣 As part of the AIR Talent team’s holiday celebration, our teammates stepped out of the office and into an unforgettable AIR Live experience at Beat the Bomb, a high-energy, real-life game designed to test collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. Outfitted in hazmat suits, it was guys vs gals as the teams worked their way through immersive, high-tech challenge rooms, racing against the clock to earn precious seconds needed to disarm a giant paint bomb. Every decision mattered. Every second counted. And if the team fell short? Let’s just say the consequences were… colorful. Beyond the laughs (and the mess), the experience reinforced what makes the AIR Talent team so strong: trust, adaptability, and the ability to come together under pressure. It was a powerful reminder that great team-building doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built through shared challenges, moments of fun, and a willingness to get a little uncomfortable together. A big thank you to our Talent team for bringing energy, strategy, and teamwork to every room…and for creating opportunities that connect teammates in meaningful (and memorable) ways.
As we step into a new year, it's the perfect time to reflect on milestones, both personal and professional, and celebrate the teammates who make AIR Communities thrive. For the past five years, Joy Nelson has played a significant role in every time an AIR Communities teammate has been paid. Joy joined AIR as a contractor during a large implementation, earned a permanent role just two months later, and has since grown into her current position as Payroll Manager, continuing a career built on learning, resilience, and purpose. "My favorite part about working at AIR is getting to partner with so many dynamic teams," Joy shares. "What excites me most about the Payroll team is our shared sense of purpose. We're not just processing checks, we're contributing to meaningful outcomes for the organization and people we serve." With 25 years of payroll experience (and even a decade as a barista…her first taste of payroll leadership!), Joy's journey is a powerful reminder that growth often comes from unexpected beginnings. Her advice for the new year? Ask questions, keep learning, and never quit on yourself. Congratulations on 5 years, Joy! We're incredibly grateful for you and the entire Payroll team. Interested in a new career path like Joy's in 2026? Check out our current open positions!
🎉 Happy Birthday, AIR Communities! 🎉 This year marks five years since AIR Communities became a company, and in that time, we’ve experienced meaningful growth, evolution, and positive change. While we’re proud of our progress as an organization, what we’re most proud of is how we grow: by listening to our teammates and taking action on what matters to them. One of the most impactful changes over the years has been how we continue to enhance the benefits offered to our teammates based directly on employee feedback. Our teammates told us that time to recharge and moments to celebrate life are important…and we listened. In 2025, we introduced a Birthday Vacation Day, giving teammates the opportunity to celebrate their day, their way. And we’re not stopping there. Based on continued feedback, we’re excited to share that in 2026, we’ve increased the number of vacation days offered to new teammates and we are adding President’s Day as a company-wide paid holiday, creating even more opportunities for rest, balance, and to spend time with loved ones. At AIR Communities, we believe a strong culture is built on open communication, trust, and continuous improvement. When our teammates speak up, we listen, and together, we move forward. Here’s to five years of growth and many more ahead! 🎂✨ #AIRCommunities #HappyBirthday #FiveYearsStrong

Today, we pause to honor and thank all who have served, the veterans and military families whose courage, sacrifice, and resilience inspire us every day. This summer, AIR Communities hosted the 22nd annual AIR Gives Charity Golf Classic, raising nearly $500,000 to benefit incredible nonprofits. One of those is Project Sanctuary, an organization that believes every military family has the right and ability to heal. Through therapeutic retreats and long-term family support, they reconnect families, restore hope, and change lives. AIR Communities has been a proud partner with Project Sanctuary for over a decade, donating more than $1.5 million to support their mission. Last Friday, during our company-wide Stand Up, we were honored to welcome Founder and CEO Heather Ray and Development Director Christopher Pierce to present them with a check for $25,000, bringing our total donations this year to $75,000. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our teammates, partners, and community members for their unwavering support and participation in our charitable activities. Your contributions have made a significant difference in the lives of many, and we are deeply grateful to all veterans and military families today and every day.
