St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital helps its patients get back into a healthy realm. The acute care facility serves the residents of northern New Jersey. Part of St. Joseph's Healthcare System, the hospital has some 230 beds and more than 300 physicians on staff, and offers services including ambulatory, cardiopulmonary, endoscopy, pathology, radiology, and senior care. It also includes an onsite rehabilitation facility. Its emergency department treats about 30,000 patients each year. Established in 1871, the Catholic hospital is sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth.
