After applying online I have been scheduled a call with the hiring manager via zoom. The call went very well and we were both very excited about moving forward. However my salary expectations were higher than the range proposed so the hiring manager asked if I could wait while she is checking if the company can facilitate my expectations. She promised to come back to me in a week. I have never heard back even after I sent a follow up email to HR. Extremely unprofessional.
