      Entretien

      30 minutes interview scheduled. Interview ended in 3 minutes, I wasn't give any possibility to know about the company or make questions about the position. The interviewer made just a background question and asked me more than 10 days to give me a feedback to say I will not pass to the next interview.

      I want to highlight the professionalism and humanity of the recruiter, Oliver Ohrenstein, throughout the entire process. He personally took the time to clarify any doubts, was always available, and handled everything with genuine care. The company is truly lucky to have someone like him representing them. Everyone I interacted with during the early stages of the process was also fantastic, approachable, smart, and inspiring. That made me even more excited about the opportunity to be part of the company. That’s why I was deeply disappointed with the final outcome. After investing so much time and effort and receiving only positive feedback, especially on my case study and presentation. I was told I wasn’t selected because I was too qualified for the role. I honestly didn’t expect that being more qualified would be a reason for disqualification, especially after clearly expressing how interested and committed I was. What was difficult for me personally was that the final decision came after a brief 30-minute call with someone who hadn’t been part of the earlier stages. After all the effort and positive feedback up to that point, it left me feeling that some key aspects of my performance may not have been fully considered.

      The first steps of the hiring process have been very pleasant and feedback was provided in a fast and direct way. The case study though was overly elaborated for the seniority of the position and the material provided was pretty disappointing considering that the company creates slides and graphs as a main product and income (images were pixeled, data from graphs unclear and overall unappealing). The most disappointing thing has been thinking that overall the company was open minded and providing health benefits, while I was told during the last interview that (quote) “I shouldn’t believe everything that I read online”.
