Job ad didn't specify a location. The application asked for home address, and I included my location on my CV (outside London), also specifying that I am only looking for hybrid or remote work and cannot commute to London five days a week. So when I was invited to interview I assumed that this had been read and understood. The interview was a video call with a talent acquisition person. They opened the call by spending 15 minutes telling me about themselves, their career history and their achievements at the company. No questions about me and no opportunity for me to talk. I had hoped to open the interview by clarifying about location/office arrangements, so once I was invited to speak ("tell me about yourself") I took the first opportunity to explain my personal situation and that I was looking for one/two days a week in-office. The interviewer replied that the position was 100% on-site only. When I asked why (purely out of interest) she could only tell me "Because it's a leadership position". So unfortunately the whole thing was a waste of both our time, which could have been avoided by some very small common-sense improvements to the selection process.
