I contacted this company through a site dedicated to startups. I got a response scheduling an interview within a week, and then was left waiting for two and a half weeks after the interview for the “next steps” that were supposed to come within the week of the interview. Eventually, I got those “next steps”, which happened to be an application screening test that took me THREE HOURS to complete. This “test” was filled with questions about ordering food for the company, scheduling a travel itinerary, and looking up contacts at a university for the company. I definitely feel like that “test” was me doing their work for them, as anyone can find contacts at a university by simply entering the university name in Google. Was promised a response within a day and never got one. Even reached out to ask if there was going to be a response, and again, I never even got a response to that email. If I make it to the final step of the process and spend THREE HOURS on a tedious application screening doing what I feel was work for you, I should at LEAST be dignified with a response, even if it’s a rejection. I will never recommend this company to anyone and will refrain from using their site. It’s a shame, because the concept is decent, but you can’t get back wasted time.
