Invited to a 15 minute interview via linkedin messaging. During the interview, the cofounder started by stating that he wouldn't share much about the company because they had a lot of applicants and throughout the interview, it was clear they had no intention of setting up their role for success. Had the feeling they were looking for the highest quality candidate willing to accept the lowest salary. The role involved zoom calls to clients explaining how to use the software. Calls can be at minimum 30 minutes, and there would be 6-8 calls a day with 15 minutes in between. The calls were scheduled by BDRs so the candidate would not have control of their schedule. The company culture wants people who take initiative and look for processes that need improvement and act on the solutions, but can't provide an experience which makes it possible in this role. It's a shame, because the platform itself is clean and the role could be incredibly impactful but was designed to be busy work essentially.
