The first stage of the interview process was a phone screening. A representative from iCIMS called and reviewed my resume and asked some basic questions about past job experiences. After successfully answering all of her questions I was told I would receive a call to set up a live 30-minute interview with two directors in the Account Management department. The 30-minute interview was scheduled about 1 week after the initial screening and went very well. Both of the Account Directors were very friendly and asked transparent questions (no trickery here).
As someone with no prior experience in a SaaS company, most of the questions I received were about how my past roles would translate into this new field. If you do your research on iCIMS and learn abou their company you should be able to translate your work history to their industry, just put in the effort. After a successful second round interview I moved onto the final stage of the interview process, a presentation.
At first, the idea of presenting as part of an interview seemed very strange to me; it was the first time I had been asked to do so in the past few months. Fortunately, iCIMS allows you to present information on your current industry. The presentation felt like it was designed as a test of nerves more than anything else. If your current role does not involve any live presentations I suggest practicing infront of family and/or friends prior to going in for a final interview.
Overall the interview process was quite smooth and comfortable. The AM and HR teams present challenging questions, but in a clear manner. As with any interview: study up on the company, practice interview questions, and prepare questions of your own. The hiring team is not looking to confuse an applicant or throw them off with vague questions, but to allow them to qualify themselves for the position by clearly presenting their strengths.

Question 1
Have you ever had a current client that was unhappy with their programs and wanted to cancel their plans? If so, how did you handle this situation and what did you take away from it?
Easy going, great people that came to talk about the position. Very engaging, wanted to learn more about my background and how I would be a good fit for the role.

Interview process was a pleasure. Initially there was a phone screen with a recruiter, which led to a video interview with my potential boss. Following the video interview, the potential boss then found 3 colleagues for me to speak with (2 other RVP's and the SVP of sales). All of these meetings were virtual/video, lasting 30 minutes. The final round consisted of creating a 15 minute presentation, selling a service/product of your choice to all of the individuals you have previously spoke with at iCIMS.

From the moment I applied, the recruiter I worked with was incredibly attentive and available to me every step of the way. They made me feel like my experience through the hiring process was paramount and went above and beyond to prepare me as I went through each phase of interviewing. Once onsite for the final interview I was greeted instantly, each interviewer was on time based on the published schedule, and the range of interviewers was set up in a manner that I was truly able to get a feel for what it would be like to work for iCIMS. I cannot say enough good things about the recruitment process.
