      Entretien

Worst company and hiring process ever, a complete waste of the applicant’s time. I applied on JobStreet on August 24, 2025, and received an update on September 2 for an HR interview invitation. I confirmed the date on September 10, 2025, for the initial interview and was advised to wait for an update within a week. On September 17, 2025, I received a call from HR for the next step, the technical interview, which was scheduled on September 24, 2025, and conducted by two Taiwanese interviewers. I was only asked one scenario-based question about how I would resolve it as a technical support agent. The assessment focused on critical thinking, identifying possible root causes, and proposing solutions. The interview went well, and both interviewers were kind. On October 2, 2025, HR informed me that I would proceed with the final interview with the Country Manager on October 6, 2025. I expected rigorous questions, but it turned out to be more of a formality. The Country Manager mostly explained the company’s operations and asked about my career goals. He mentioned that he would create a recommendation letter for HR and expected HR to make me an offer acceptable to me. He seemed nice, but I was not sure if it was just a facade to appear like a good company. I waited a week, then two weeks, but nothing happened. I only gave them two weeks to update me; otherwise, it was the end of the process. I did not bother following up with HR because if they were interested, they would have reached out to me first. In my 10 years of experience in the corporate industry, this is the first time I have been ghosted after going through three rounds of interviews spanning almost two months. It hit me hard because I had already declined two job offers prior to this, hoping for this role. I am not a job hopper, and in my 10 years of work, I would only have been employed by a fourth company if I had been hired. I was ignorant about verbal offers since this was my first time encountering one, and it never occurred to me that there was no assurance with it. I thought a verbal job offer was sufficient, but in the end, it led to nothing. I do not mind being ghosted when sending applications, but going through such a long process without a concrete offer is ridiculous. The lesson learned is that if there is no job offer in writing, whether by email or otherwise, then there is no work waiting for you.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Could you tell me about yourself and your relevant experience for this role? Typical initial interview questions will be asked.
