I was initially contacted by a consultant, to whom I shared my CV and details. The following day, I received confirmation that my profile had been shortlisted for two technical interview rounds. Both interviews were straightforward and engaging.
The first interview was focused on cultural fit and involved a one-hour session with the Director of Design, where we had a productive conversation and I presented my portfolio and projects. The next day, I was informed that I had successfully cleared the first round, and two days later, the second interview was scheduled.
For the second round, I was advised to prepare and present two case studies of my most recent work. This interview was conducted with the Lead Designer, where I provided a detailed walkthrough of my design process. A few days later, the consultant informed me that two candidates, including myself, had been shortlisted. However, they were deliberating between selecting one or possibly filling both vacancies.
Unfortunately, I later received a notification that the other candidate had been offered the role. While this was disappointing, I remain optimistic and have started preparing to perform even better in future opportunities.
