I was promised a job back in May and then had my offer rescinded at the last minute due to a combination of visa issues and a hiring freeze imposed by door2door's parent company. I was quite disappointed as I'd tried to be upfront about my situation early on so there should have been no surprises on their side. Should door2door/SWVL make it out of the current recession, anyone applying from outside of the EU in the future may want to bear this in mind before doing so. To their credit, the People team did say that they would recommend me to companies within their network. This isn't something that I can verify as no-one actually got in touch with me during that period but it's what they said they'd do, so...
