I went through two interviews that felt very positive, and after the second, I was asked to do three unpaid design assignment. I spent hours over the weekend creating the work, and when we were scheduled to meet, only one person met with me, instead of the full team. She shared that they liked my work, but had decided not to move forward with the full-time role and were instead interested in freelance opportunities. I was disappointed but she then emailed me about freelance and asked for my hourly rate. When I answered her she completely ghosted me. It was an absolute waste of time.
