Great Tech Vision, But Role Clarity and Candidate Value Need Attention
Had the opportunity to interview directly with the top management team at ATAI Labs for a Business Analyst role. The conversations were engaging, and the company’s focus on AI-driven innovation is genuinely exciting.
However, there was noticeable lack of alignment among leadership regarding the role’s scope, expectations, and reporting structure. For a strategic role like this, clarity at the leadership level is critical.
Despite the simple fact that the interview took place offline in this day and age, it is hypocritical for a digital business. While I welcome the opportunity to meet in person, I believe companies should also respect the time and financial investment that candidates make, particularly for onsite conversations.
ATAI Labs has strong potential, and with better internal alignment and a more candidate-centric approach, the interview experience can truly reflect the company’s innovative spirit.
