      J'ai postulé via une autre source. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Zutec (Dún Laoghaire) en mars 2018

      Entretien

      Was left waiting for some time before the interviewers entered the room which was fine, and the interview started off in a friendly and relaxed manner....but went downhill fast. I had Googled the company before applying, and I suggest anyone else considering applying here do the same, certain news articles will give a clear indication of how this company is managed, and that attitude came to the fore a few minutes in. It appeared as if they felt I should be praising the heavens I had been allowed enter their office. Pretty much everything I said was treated with disdain, my future plans (when asked) were mocked, and to sum it up I wasn't even asked any technical questions or asked to see any of my previous projects. About ten minutes into this nonsense I was told they ask people in to see if they want to ask people in again for a real interview. At this I started packing up. I'll admit, I was hoping to hear from them again so I could tell them where to go, but I'm pretty certain they knew I'd lost all interest in them. Things couldn't have worked out better for me, the following week I signed a contract with a company I didn't think I was good enough for, and I've loved every minute there so far. If I ever do find myself looking for another role though I'd rather switch careers than ever consider Zutec again. Be warned, Google them.

      We're sorry about the experience you had interviewing with Zutec in 2018. Over the past 2 years we've had substantial changes to our Strategy and our HR and Recruitment processes, and we are now very proud of the way all of our interviewers work with candidates. We emphasise that the interview process is as much for a candidate to check they like us, as for us to assess the candidate, and without both of those pieces being achieved, new joiners won't be set up for success. We appreciate your feedback and it was carefully considered as we developed our new processes, especially because we're undergoing substantial growth in 2021 and our top priority is building the right culture as we expand the team!
