Two Rounds, both technical. But terrible, insufficient communication throughout the whole process. I did land the role, but lack of enthusiasm and not much insight into the work I would be doing is what turned me away from this role.
The work hours were a reason too. 9 hour shift for 5 days is too much. HR's represent the company and the outlook I got was not very positive. The offer letter that I did receive was not printed on a LetterHead. Make what you will of it, but I find that extremely upsetting. Also after release of the offer letter, they pressure you to make your decision within 24 hours.
After much deliberation, I ultimately decided that I would not like to join an organization that pressurizes you even before you join it.
Another thing-- in the T&C of employer agreement, there is a clause that they hold the right to transfer you to any organization that is held by the Parent company.
The interview process was nothing short of a farce. My Interview went quite well as I answered all questions. But they cut me off saying your resume is AI/ML oriented (I had 1 only projects related to ML out of 4 that i listed). Later all students that gave this final interview was debarred from Uni's placement for 20 days period. Don't understand how they reason their brain.
