The interview was okay overall. First call was fine and then they gave an assignment. The brief mainly talked about Instagram growth strategy and mockups, so I submitted that. Later they told me I was rejected because I didn’t include actual Canva designs, but the assignment never clearly said to design full creatives. It only mentioned written mockups. I wasn’t even given a chance to submit the missing part. When I pointed out the unclear instructions, they agreed it was confusing and said they would update it for future candidates. Communication was polite but instructions definitely needed to be clearer.
