I had a 30 min prescreen call with a new recruiter in the team (probably a few months in). We didn't discuss next steps as I needed to make sure the opportunity they offered was in line with my intentions in my career.

Came as a referral and so the recruiter first asked me my expectations and what role I was looking for.
Quickly saw we were not a match at this time. Too junior for the one Team and too experienced for the other.
